The Master Plan and Programming for the University of Rochester College Town develops on a theme introduced by the University to provide a connected urban neighborhood that will complete the East third of their Medical Center Campus. Office, residential and retail uses are organized on this moderately sloping site to provide a transition to the surrounding community and connection to the medical center, while taking advantage of the topography.

Key components include a multipurpose bookstore that will serve as the university bookstore as well as a public commercial bookstore; replacement structured parking for physicians, staff and visitors; and market rate residential to supplement the neighboring retail community
