Station Square, one of Pittsburgh’s hottest tourist destinations, is located on the South bank of the Monongahela River directly across the river from downtown Pittsburgh and adjacent to Mount Washington. The 52-acre site includes 189,000 sf of mall shops, specialty retail stores and numerous restaurants including the Hard Rock Café. The project also includes 440,000 sf of office space.

Coupled with the expansion of the Sheraton Hotel to 293 rooms, the addition of a 3,500 seat outdoor soccer stadium for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and the restoration of the historic landmark building, Station Square offers visitors a tremendous shopping and entertainment venue.

A key factor in developing this complex project was KA's ability to work within the vocabulary of the existing "train depot" architectural style. In addition, the incorporation of a Bessemer Converter, railroad machinery and cars all add to the aesthetic.
