Conscious of its appearance, being visible from the highway and low flying aircraft landing at the Denver-Metro Airport, Westminster Mall asked ka to develop changes to its exterior along with enhancements to the interior common areas of the mall.

Dramatic, large-scale upgrades to the entrances invite highway users to visit the mall and act as a beacon to easily lead to mall entries.

The low, continuous single-level ceiling was broken into sections, creating separate and distinct spaces that add visual interest. Translucent glass skylights add variety and volume to the mall, taking the ceiling to a higher level and increasing natural light to the mall concourses. Other changes to the interior include updated amenities such as mall furniture, planters, and water features.
