Design Team: ka - Executive Architect/Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo - Concept Building Design Architect

ka served as an integral part of the team that prepared the pre-planning, design, and documentation required for Forest City's bid to win designation as the developer of a portion of a 250-acre site at Gulfstream Park. ka went on to become the project's executive architect responsible for overseeing the design development, construction documentation and construction administration.

The mixed-use portion of the development is situated on just over 60 acres of the total site. It includes a track for thoroughbred horse racing, more than 650,000 sf of retail space, restaurants, entertainment, and office buildings, two hotels, seven residential condominium towers containing 1,500 units, a casino, and parking for more than 10,000 cars.
