The first of its kind in the region, The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley is an open-air lifestyle center located in the heart of the Lehigh Valley. With significance of being the first, it was essential to create an environment that set the standard and made an impact within the community. Thoughtfully designed, the environmental graphic design program draws in the project's beautiful natural setting. Decorative banners mounted to ornamental light poles line the streets to give the center a warm and inviting atmosphere creating a sense of place in the mountains of Pennsylvania.

In addition to the necessary wayfinding elements within the Shops, key project identification structures are located around the perimeter, announcing the project to returning patrons as well as attracting new ones. Within the interior streets of the Shops, the same design aesthetics can be seen applied to the smaller wayfinding pieces. Strong design cues such as the logo as a faded background pattern on a deep red field enforces the language and unifies the wayfinding system throughout.
