Working with two developers and the City of Huntsville, ka was asked to reinvent a one-story, under-performing mall into a new, two-story, 630,000 sf enclosed regional mall on a 32-acre site.

The design, demolition, and construction were sequenced into two phases. Expanding from 400,000 to 630,000 square feet, the new mall features restaurants, a food court, and more than 80 upscale retailers.

Dramatic arches, skylit concourses, custom lighting and intricate tile patterns highlight the classically inspired interior spaces. The exterior features a copper-clad dome rising above the main entry rotunda.
