Completed in October 2006, the renovation of Northpark Mall consisted of renewal of the mall entries, concourses and lighting. Included in the mall entries was the creation of a new food court entrance.

Inside, the food court was redeveloped with a Route 66 theme that is seen throughout this portion of the mall.

The Montgomery Wards building was reconfigured into two tenants in the Fall of 2007.
