ka's long term relationship with MBNA began with the master plan for its Midwest headquarters. Sited on 50 acres, the plan called for a total build-out of 1.6 million sf in nine phases. To date, ka has designed five distinctive granite and glass clad buildings for a total of 779,000 sf.

The master plan has recently been expanded to include an adjacent 17.4 acre site, which will allow for the development of an additional 800,000 sf of corporate offices, for a total buildout of 1.8 million sf.
