Completed in 2008, Dalad Group's new Corporate Offices consolidated the separate locations of Dalad Realty and Dalad Construction into one facility. By taking advantage of window views on three sides, ka was able to organize private offices, conference rooms and open collaboration areas along the window wall. Views and daylight exposure for the open plan workstations were created by introducing sidelights and clerestory windows into the office and conference room fronts.

ka developed a custom wood perimeter wall which encircles the workstations. Clad in wood veneer, panelized by aluminum dividers and containing backlit translucent panels, the workstations take on a more solid architectural appearance and add the major element of warmth and texture to the office, allowing finishes in the remainder of the office to be an economical solution of painted surfaces. Niches and perimeter office walls were organized to allow for the display of sculpture and Dalad’s photography collection.

New furniture complements and reinforces the architectural style, while providing an efficient, ergonomically correct, and easily maintained workplace.
