In order to expand and renovate Beachwood Place Mall, ka developed plans to reconfigure the existing space in order to provide additional areas for patrons.

The expansion of the mall's main entrance between Maggiano's Little Italy and Saks Fifth Avenue yielded an addition of 17,000 sf of new retail space. A new restaurant anchors the new tenant line up, of high-end retailers, including a two-story clothing store.

The relocation of the food court to the upper level created an inviting space, featuring a fireplace and comfortable seating area overlooking the new outdoor plaza and a new set of elegant rest rooms.

An additional exterior glazing, skylights, and clerestory windows flood the food court with natural light. Additional artistic work includes a dynamic kinetic sculpture by the new main entry plaza.
