In order to expand and renovate Beachwood Place Mall, ka developed plans reconfiguring existing space while providing additional areas for visitors to enjoy.

Included was the expansion of the mall's main entrance between Maggiano's Little Italy and Saks Fifth Avenue and the addition of 17,000 sf of new retail space. A new restaurant anchors the new tenant line up, comprised of additional high-end retailers, including a two-story clothing store.

The food court, which was completed in November 2006, was relocated to the upper level creating an inviting space, featuring a fireplace and comfortable seating area overlooking the new outdoor plaza.

Exterior windows, skylights and clerestory windows flood the food court with natural light. Additional artistic works include a dynamic kinetic sculpture in the new main entry plaza.

The project was completed in May 2007.
