ka Team Continues to Grow

Cleveland, OH (August 4, 2005)  Todd A. Brandt, AIA, has joined ka architecture as a project architect, bringing 14 years of experience on a variety of assignments ranging from the restoration and renovation of two homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, to the design and construction of a 13-story, 300,000 sf office building for all 110 state representatives in Michigan.

As project architect, Brandt will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of design and construction documents for large projects. Specific responsibilities will include leading a team of ka staff, coordinating with designers and consultants, assuring quality of work, and organizing communications and documents.

Brandt is excited and confident about continuing his career at ka and is focused on the future.  "Having had the fortune to work on a diverse portfolio of projects for a variety of clients, I attempt to incorporate the best aspects of each into my collective values and experiences," said Brandt.   

Prior to joining ka, he worked with other local firms including Lesko Associates, Inc., Van Dijk Westlake Reed Leskosky, and Hobbs & Black Associates. In his previous roles, Brandt had the responsibilities of project manager, project director and project architect. 

Brandt earned a bachelors of arts degree and masters of architecture degree, both from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a registered architect in Ohio and Michigan, NCARB certified, and a member of the American Institute of Architects. Outside of the office, Brandt devotes his time to his wife and three daughters.
