Cleveland, OH (September 23, 2005) ka welcomes back Robert Weeks as a project manager. In this role, Weeks will be active in new business development, and will serve as the primary contact for clients and consultants from the earliest phases of a project through completion.
Weeks initially worked at ka from 1986 to 1991, upon graduation from college. Since that time, he has worked at a variety of Cleveland-area firms and has spent the better part of his career managing projects for the design of senior living facilities, commercial projects, and public work. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Project Management at RDL Architects where he successfully developed strategies to target the active adult and senior living residential markets.
"Returning to ka will allow me to continue to share my lifelong passion for architecture," says Weeks, whose great grandfather was Harry E. Weeks, the noted architect and co-founder of Walker and Weeks, the Cleveland architectural firm best known for its design of numerous classical public buildings in Cleveland in the 1920s and '30s. "I believe in four key elements that allow me to provide the best possible service and they are integrity, adaptability, problem solving, and a sense of humor," he says.
Weeks' career began after earning a bachelor of science in industrial design from Ohio Northern University. He continues to build upon his education by involvement in professional affiliations including the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA).
During his time away from work, Weeks enjoys sailing, golfing, photography, motor sports and spending time with his son and daughter.
